Ross Giggins is a supporting character in the Scary Movie franchise. He was played by actor Jeremy Piven.
Bio[]
Ross Giggins is an anchorman who works at the same Washington D.C. news station where Cindy Campbell works. At times, he acts somewhat sleazy and contemptible, but he is also blindly dedicated to his job, often reading on-air scripts without paying attention. When Cindy attempts to get on air a story about a likely alien invasion on a teleprompter, he reads it unerringly even as the text becomes gibberish with Cindy and Carson Ward, her boss fighting over the equipment. Giggins even continues reading it completely oblivious to the typos as Zubie takes over the typing and gets him to confess to station improprieties and allegations of himself seducing Ross's wife, even adding some gang lingo.
In addition to the alien invasion, Giggins also irresponsibly broadcasts footage from Tabitha's cursed VHS tape on a loop from the station. It is unrevealed if this broad range of the tape at all spreads or amplifies Tabitha's curse.
